Need an antidote for those winter blahs? Come on down to the Greenbelt Nature Center throughout January for fun pastimes.
Tots, 2-4 years old, participate in hands-on activities, finger play games, and hear stories every Wednesday, from 9:45–10:30 am or 11–11:30 am. Admission is $4 ($6 non-members) per event and pre-registration is required.
On Jan. 15 at 1 pm, the older crowd — ages 7 and up — can learn about the stars and make a glow-in-the-dark craft to take home that depicts the winter sky. Admission is $4 ($6 non-members).
Children, up to 8 years old, enjoy a day in the snow and walk through the grounds, then make a craft to take home on Jan. 21. Pre-payment and pre-registration is required. Admission is $4 ($6 non-members).
