Celebrate the Year of the Rooster with arts and crafts at the Bronx Museum on Jan. 14.

Usher in the Lunar New Year with costumed folk dances, authentic music, and a Lion Dance, presented by the New York Chinese Cultural Center. Families can learn traditional techniques of paper cutting and calligraphy and then enjoy performances.

Lunar New Year Celebration, Jan. 14 from 2 to 4 pm. Free with museum admission.
