And parents can also take a turn on the plastic sled as it has a 250-pound weight capacity, and it’s recommended for kids ages 5 to 106. The feet-first safety design makes it easy for the rider to stop and control his speed, while the handle makes it a cinch to maneuver. Choose from the classic red Zipfy, or the new purple on pink, or two-tone green or blue versions.

The Zipfy measures 13-inches wide by 21-inches long and 16-inches high, and weighs just three pounds, so it won’t slow them down when they’re trudging back up the hill.

The School at the Mark Morris Dance Center

The School at the Mark Morris Dance Center offers year-round, community-based dance and music programming in a fully inclusive and nurturing environment, located in the heart of the Brooklyn Cultural District. The School&rsquo;s diverse and professional faculty provides progressive and non-competitive instruction with all of our classes accompanied by live music. Though we are a non-recital school, there are opportunities for students to perform and for parents to see their dancers in action.

Steps on Broadway Youth Programs
