Queens ProjectArt is expanding

The ProjectArt semester is off to an exciting start and coming to a library near you.

ProjectArt is expanding its free art classes to include more libraries. Children will be able to explore their artistic talents with amazing and talented teaching artists.

Branches include:

Forest Hills Public Library [108-19 71st Ave. between 108th and 110th streets, (718) 268–7934] Classes every Monday, 2–4 pm, from July 6 to July 27.

Corona Public Library [38-23 104th St. between 104th and 108th streets, (718) 426–2844] Classes on Wednesdays, 2–4 pm, from July 8 to July 29.

South Jamaica Library [108-41 Guy R. Brewer Blvd. between 108th and 109th streets, (718) 739–4088] Classes on Fridays, 3:30–5:30 pm, from July 10 to July 31.

All classes are free.

Gaga is the hottest new sport in NYC. We've taken the fun of GAGA and pushed it into overdrive. Energetic coaches, pumped up music, sideline commentary, gear giveaways and more. Stay active and keep fit with this new craze that's sweeping the city.

Brooklyn Robot Foundry - Virtual Classes

Brooklyn Robot Foundry offers super fun online robot-building classes for children 2-13 years old!&nbsp;&nbsp;Each week, students are introduced to new engineering concepts and components while building that day&rsquo;s robot in their own &ldquo;workshop&rdquo;.&nbsp;&nbsp;All classes maintain a very low student-to-teacher ratio, allowing for plenty of individualized instruction and socializing. The supplies are shipped in advance and classes are led by amazing instructors, taking all the pressure off parents.&nbsp;&nbsp;The Foundry&rsquo;s main focus however, is that kids have fun, get creative, and enjoy being part of this STEAM-loving community!&nbsp;
