A concert for freedom

Learn about the the Pursuit of Freedom and enjoy a concert by the Quintet of the Americas at St. Mark’s Church on May 10.

This concert features music related to the exhibition in “Pursuit of Freedom” currently on display at the Brooklyn Historical Society that explores the anti-slavery movement from the end of the American Revolution to the early days of Reconstruction through photographs, census records, and local newspapers.

The performance features the talents of Karla Moe on flute, Matt Sullivan lon oboe, Ben Baron on clarinet, Barbara Oldham on horn, and Gina Cuffari on bassoon.
