‘Renewal’ for spring

Amanda Selwyn Dance Theatre opens its 2015 season with a world-premier performance of “Renewal” on March 13, 14, and 15.

This production features a series of shorts that offer fresh and vibrant movements, athleticism, energy, and balance.

Each short highlights signature structures and elements. Her dance moves activate emotional expression and offer many in-roads for audiences to make meaning for themselves.

“Renewal” on March 13 and 14 at 7:30 pm and March 15 at 3 pm. Tickets are $25. Recommended for older teens.

Advantage Junior Tennis

At Advantage Junior Tennis Camp, the focus is on the game, up close and all summer long! It&rsquo;s ideal for beginners and more experienced players. Campers ages 7 to 17 spend full days learning how to play their best game&mdash;and meeting campers who love tennis as much as they do.

Kents Hill Sports Camp

A premier 3 week overnight sports camp, providing girls ages 8-15 an opportunity to excel in the sport of their choice, plus all the activities, spirit, &amp; values of a traditional summer camp. &nbsp;Girls will select a major (ice hockey, field hockey, soccer, basketball, dance)&nbsp;which they will participate in and receive a high level of instruction in each day.&nbsp; They will then choose all of the other activities they would like to try, which will round out their weekly schedule. We also have fun special events, cookouts, campfires, carnival, out of camp trips, and color war to end the session.

Ballet Academy East SUMMERDANCE Camp

A fun-filled summer program designed to foster imagination and inspire a love of the arts &nbsp; Ballet Academy East is proud to once again offering its much-loved and very popular SUMMERDANCE CAMP this summer! Summerdance is a fun-filled program for children 3-7 years, designed to foster imagination and inspire a love of the arts. Activities include a variety of dance forms, arts &amp; crafts, drama, musical theater, cooking, origami, and much more! Classes are led by BAE&rsquo;s talented and dedicated instructors who specialize in teaching and encouraging young children.
