How spectacular!

Yeah! It’s the second annual Carnival and Science Spectacular fund-raising event at the Staten Island Children’s Museum on June 7. Children mix science, technology, math, and learning by playing, touching, imagining and doing.

Interactive robotic demos by students from SI Technical High School greet the children and lead them to LEGO engineering projects presented by students from St. Clare’s, 3-D printing is showcased by Staten Island Makerspace, and Tottenville High School students introduce visitors to a solar-powered car. There will also be a science of the circus with trained clowns, a special concert by Patrick and the Rock-a-Silly Band, and fun science experiments thanks to Wagner College students.

It’s loads of fun for all.

Carnival and Science Spectacular, June 7 from 1 to 4 pm (rain date June 8). Admission is $12 in advance; $13 for members and $15 at the gate same day.
