New yoga game is a stretch

The new Yoga Spinner board game makes a great gift for the holidays, as well as healthy, fun indoor entertainment during the long winter months. The spinner directs kids to pick a card. Then, the player strikes the pose on the card and attempts to hold it for 10 seconds, without laughing or crumbling to the floor. The first player to hold one of each kind of pose is the winner. The cards feature the names of the poses in English, Spanish, and French as well as their Sanskrit pronunciation. It doesn’t take long before the competitors are giggling and having fun, all the while unaware that they are benefiting from yoga’s side effects: increased strength, balance, and flexibility. The set includes 54 pose cards which can then be stored inside the spinner box. For 2 to 4 players, ages 6 and older, Yoga Spinner is so entertaining, you’ll want to play, too.
