That lovable, huggable haystack “Grug” pops into the New 42nd Street Studios March 1 through March 17.
Hamish, Jude, and Lucas from Australia’s Windmill Theater hop over from the land Down Under to charm us with this enchanting tale of Grug and his knack for problem-solving, as he turns his cramped burrow into a growing garden.
This fun, inventive and didgeridoo puppet performance will make one and all boogie-woogie — Grug-style! It’s based on Ted Prior’s beloved picture book character, and suitable for children 2 to 5 years old.
“Grug,” March 1 through 17, from Wednesday through Sunday. Showtimes vary, so check our calendar for exact times. Tickets are $14 to $20.
