Dogs on Fleas makes a special trip to Symphony Space

Dogs on Fleas take a walk to Symphony Space’s Leonard Nimoy Thalia theater on Nov. 2 for a bow-wow’erific concert.

Dog on Fleas, one of the most musically adventurous bands coming out of the Hudson River Valley’s energetic family music scene, performs and records intelligent, gutsy music for kids and adults. With original, inventive music and a tornado of a live show, the Fleas aim to convert every listener to its brand of loose, energetic music. Watch out for the roving trombone slide, fancy footwork, irresistible rhythms, and the spirited singing of the band and audience members.

Dogs on Fleas at Symphony Space on Nov. 2 at 11 am. Tickets are $13 to $20.

Frost Valley YMCA Camps

<p>Frost Valley YMCA offers traditional overnight summer camp, teen and pre-teen adventure trips, horse camps, and an adventure survival camp. Children and teens grow in a safe and engaging environment, spending their first nights away from home, gaining skills as young leaders, and bonding with new friends on mountain hikes, swimming and boating in Lake Cole, ziplining, sleeping beneath the starry Catskill sky, and more. Friends Academy Summer Camps

Our specialty classes include learning science, practicing gymnastics, fireless cooking, and more.</p> <p>The Trailblazer Program (Rising Grades 3-8) allows children the opportunity to develop new interests by selecting two different specialty programs of choice each week in addition to campus-wide activities and recreational swim sessions. Specialty classes include cooking, sports, app building, dance, chess, art and much more!</p>
