‘The Selfish Giant’ at the Players Theatre

Oscar Wilde’s “The Selfish Giant” will come to life when children’s dramatists from Literally Alive present the heartwarming tale at the Players Theatre, beginning Oct. 6.

The story, one of Wilde’s collection of five stories first published in 1888, tells the story of a big meanie, who owns a lush and fragrant garden, in which children love to play after returning from school.

There’s plenty that happens in between, and we won’t spoil the happy ending!

“The Selfish Giant” on Oct. 6, 12, 13, 19, 20, 26, and 27, Saturdays at 11 am and 3 pm, and Sundays at 11 am. $25-$45.
