Shoes, shoes and more shoes, more than Imelda Marcus can count, in the Global Shoes exhibit at the Brooklyn Children’s Museum, on display now through March 10, 2013.
The exhibit, which incorporates cultural artifacts from the museum’s collection and a variety of hands- and feet-on activities, encourages kids to explore the world and its cultures within the fantasy shoe store and factory context.
Children 5 to 12 years old learn all about the world’s peoples from the feet on up.
Global Shoes, Tuesday to Sunday, now through March 10, 2013, 10 am to 5 pm. General admission is $7.50 for adults; free for members and children under 1 years old.
