With its workshop on claymation, the Museum of the Moving Image is showing — and teaching — children how some of their favorite movies are made. They’ll also have the chance to create their own three-dimensional characters made from clay and then animate them using the same technique used to create famous films.
Claymation has been used in such popular children’s shows and films as “Gumby” and all four “Wallace and Gromit” short films (pictured).
