It’s a snap!
At The Point community center, bring out the photographer within, as your pre-teen or teen can learn how to see the world through a camera lens with free photography classes beginning Jan. 24
The 10-week beginner program will teach kids how to take black-and-white photos — providing them with a 35mm camera and all other necessary photography materials — and guide them through the use of the dark room to develop their work.
For inspiration, participants will be assigned to take photos based on a theme of the semester. A special visit from a guest photographer will further explore the craft.
By the end of the course, they can show off their work during a final presentation for family and friends.
