Christmas goes colonial

Santa Clause is coming to town, and he’s bringing gifts for every boy and girl!

On Dec. 12, The Conference House, a historic museum in Tottenville, is turning into Santa’s Workshop with its annual Colonial Christmas fair.

Children will visit with Father Christmas and receive a gift, while adults can enjoy the marketplace. And it wouldn’t be the Conference House without staff dressed in colonial garb.

Hot mulled cider and cookies will be served to all, good or bad.

Colonial Christmas at the Conference House [7455 Hylan Blvd. at Satterlee Street in Tottenville, (718) 984-6046], Dec. 12 from 10 am-4 pm. $3 donation. For info, visit www.conferencehouse.org.
