Ballet Hispanico opens its 2017 season with a production of “Con Brazos Abiertos,” “Linea Recta,” and “3. Catorce Dieciseis” at the Joyce Theater from April 18 to 23.
The nation’s premier Latino dance organization brings its bold brand of contemporary dance to the Joyce Theater with a program of all-female choreographers.
Works include the world premiere of Michelle Manzanales’s “Con Brazos Abiertos,” “Línea Recta” by Belgian-Colombian Annabelle Lopez Ochoa, and “3. Catorce Dieciséis” by Tania Pérez-Salas. For older teens and college students.
Ballet Hispanico from April 18 to 23, Thursdays and Fridays at 8 pm; Saturdays, 2 pm and 8 pm; and Sundays, 2 pm and 7:30 pm. Tickets start at $10.
