Learn how to make and fly kites at the New York Hall of Science

Let’s go fly a kite at the New York Hall of Science on Aug. 17.

Come learn about the design and science involved in flight through demonstrations and hands-on activities at the museum’s Designing for Flight event.

Attendees can bring their own kite to fly, take a turn piloting a Brooklyn Aerodrome glider, or make their own flying machine out of origami with creased magazine.

New York Hall of Science, Aug. 17 from noon to 4 pm. Free with admission.
