It’s the rootin’ tootinest musical around.
The Bellmore Theatre puts on the sharpshooting show “Annie Get Your Gun” this month, in a fully stage production of the Broadway favorite.
In case you’ve forgotten, the story follows a fictionalized version of the life of Annie Oakley, a sharpshooter from Ohio during the late 19th century, and her husband, Frank Butler.
Even if you haven’t seen the show, you probably know some of the classic songs that came from it, including “There’s No Business Like Show Business” and “Anything You Can Do.” You know the rest.
“Annie Get Your Gun” at the Bellmore Theatre [222 Pettit Ave. at Camp Avenue in Lynbrook, (516) 599-6870], July 27 at 12:30 pm. Tickets $15 (includes popcorn and soda). For info, visit www.plazatheatrical.com.
